Services & Fees — Published Openly
Everything you need to challenge a Red Notice yourself is published on this site, free, and the CCF itself charges nothing to file. For readers who want more structured help, we offer three optional tiers — priced openly below, with their limits stated as plainly as their benefits. There is no payment system on this site, no countdown timer, and no consultation funnel: read, decide, and contact us only if a tier genuinely fits.

Why we publish prices
In this field, opacity is the norm: “contact us for a consultation” pages that never mention money, followed by retainers quoted person-by-person. We think that model preys on fear, so we do the opposite. Our prices are printed here, on a public page, the same for everyone. If a number below is not worth it to you, the free route remains complete — the self-filed process, the grounds, the forms guide, and everything else on this site cost nothing and hide nothing. Paid tiers exist for people who want structure, a second pair of eyes on the process, or a vetted path to counsel — not because the free path is crippled.
The schedule at a glance
| Tier | What it is | Price | Nature |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 DIY CCF Toolkit | Templates, an annotated sample application structure, evidence checklists per ground, country-specific guidance | $97 – $297 one-time | Self-help legal information (the established Nolo-style publishing model) |
| Tier 2 Procedural Consulting | One-to-one sessions explaining the process, forms, and admissibility rules, and how to organise your own request | $250 – $500 per session | Procedural and educational only — not legal advice, not case strategy |
| Tier 3 Attorney Referral | Connection to independent, CCF-experienced counsel for genuinely complex cases | No charge for the referral | The attorney sets and discloses their own fees directly with you; never fee-splitting |
The tiers are cumulative in spirit — most readers start free, some add the toolkit, a smaller number book a session, and a minority of genuinely complex cases belong with counsel from the outset.
Tier 1 — the DIY CCF Toolkit ($97–$297, one-time)
The toolkit is a self-help publication — the same model legal publishers have used for decades to help people handle their own filings competently. It contains request templates matched to the recognised deletion grounds; an annotated sample application structure showing how a persuasive file is ordered; evidence checklists for each ground, so you know what to gather before you write; and country-specific guidance reflecting the documented patterns of the most frequent requesting states. The price band reflects editions and depth, not gatekeeping. It does not tell you which arguments to run in your particular case — that is legal advice, and it belongs with a lawyer — but it makes the difference between a request assembled from guesswork and one assembled from a map.
Tier 2 — procedural consulting ($250–$500 per session)
A consulting session is one-to-one time spent making the system make sense: how the CCF’s admissibility check works and why identity documents matter so much; what the portal expects, including its one-request-type-per-submission rule and its appendix limits; how the timeline realistically runs and what the Article 40(1) four-month target does and does not promise; and how to organise your own evidence so the Requests Chamber can follow it. The boundary is bright and we state it in writing: we explain how the process works; we do not advise which legal arguments to make in your specific case, predict your outcome, or act as your representative. If a session reveals that your situation needs counsel, we say so and move you to Tier 3 rather than selling you more sessions.
Tier 3 — attorney referral (no charge to you)
Some cases should not be handled alone: credible political persecution by a determined state, an active extradition, urgent need for provisional measures, multi-jurisdiction files with conflicting proceedings. For these we connect you with independent, CCF-experienced counsel. The referral itself costs you nothing, and the arrangement is deliberately clean: the attorney sets and discloses their own fees directly with you, we take no share of them, and there is no fee-splitting behind the scenes. Our page on when you need a lawyer sets out, honestly, which situations belong in this tier — and which do not, no matter how alarming a law firm’s marketing makes them sound.
What is always free
Worth stating as a list of its own. The entire editorial site — every procedure page, ground, country file, and explainer — is free. Filing with the CCF is free: the Commission charges no fee for access or deletion requests, and it accepts them directly from individuals. The confidential assessment, which routes you to the right path, is free. The Tier 3 referral is free. In other words, a person of ordinary care and modest means can go from “I think there is a notice against me” to a complete, filed deletion request without paying anyone anything — and this page will still say so next year.
How our prices compare to the market
Full representation by a specialist firm in a contested Red Notice matter commonly reaches five figures, and complex multi-front cases go well beyond that. That is not inherently a scandal — genuine expertise, correspondence, and long timelines cost money — but it is a very different product from what most people first need, which is accurate information and a well-organised request. Our tiers are priced as what they are: a publication, an explainer session, and an introduction. Before spending serious money anywhere, apply the test we use throughout this site: be able to say, in one sentence, what the professional will do that you could not — and if you cannot, pause.
How payment and contact actually work
There is deliberately no checkout on this site. If a tier fits, start with the confidential assessment or the contact page; we confirm scope, timing, and the exact price in writing before anything is paid, and invoicing is handled off-site through ordinary, verifiable channels. No payment is ever requested through social media, messaging apps you did not initiate, or third parties claiming to act for us — a caution worth spelling out because people facing notices are prime targets for impersonation scams. If someone demands money in our name under time pressure, it is not us.
Our conflicts, disclosed
Every adviser in this field has incentives; ours are on the table. We earn money when readers buy the toolkit or book consulting, which could tempt a publisher to overstate the difficulty of self-filing — so note that our flagship page teaches the free route in full, and this page repeats that filing costs nothing. We maintain a disclosed partnership on second citizenship for readers facing entrenched state adversaries, and we say plainly that it is a cross-referral. We accept no advertising, no placement fees from law firms, and no compensation for the Tier 3 referral. Where an incentive exists, you will find it written down — here, on the about page, or in our disclaimer.
Frequently asked questions
Is the consulting legal advice?
No, and we put that in writing before any session. Tier 2 explains how the CCF process works — procedure, forms, admissibility, organisation. It never tells you which legal arguments to run in your specific case, predicts outcomes, or represents you. Cases needing that belong with counsel via Tier 3.
Do I have to buy anything to file with the CCF?
No. The CCF accepts requests directly from individuals and charges no fee. Everything needed to file is published free on this site; the paid tiers add structure and support, not access.
How does the free attorney referral work?
For genuinely complex cases we introduce you to independent, CCF-experienced counsel. The referral costs you nothing, the attorney quotes their own fees directly to you, and we take no share — no fee-splitting, disclosed or otherwise.
Why is there a price range within each tier?
Tier 1’s range reflects edition and depth (a single-ground toolkit versus a full multi-ground package); Tier 2’s reflects session length and preparation. The exact figure is confirmed in writing before you pay, and it comes from the published range — never above it.
Do you offer refunds or guarantees?
We guarantee accurate, honest work — never an outcome, because no honest actor in this field can. Terms for each purchase, including any refund provision, are confirmed in writing before payment; if that written scope is not met, we make it right.
