Disclaimer — Educational Information, Not Legal Advice

This page states, without decoration, what this site is and is not. It applies to every page, every product, and every communication with us. If anything elsewhere on the site could be read to conflict with it, this page controls.

Last reviewed: 5 July 2026 · Educational information — not legal advice.

Educational information only

RemoveRedNotice.com is an independent educational publisher. Everything on this site — articles, guides, checklists, templates, the confidential assessment, and any consulting session — is general educational and procedural information about the Interpol notice system and the CCF’s processes. It describes how rules and institutions work in general; it is not advice about what you should do in your specific situation, and it cannot account for facts we do not know.

Not legal advice; no attorney–client relationship

We are not a law firm, we are not lawyers, and nothing here is legal advice. Using this site, contacting us, submitting the confidential assessment, purchasing the DIY toolkit, or booking a procedural consulting session does not create an attorney–client relationship with us or with anyone. Our Tier 2 consulting is expressly procedural and educational: we explain how the CCF process works; we do not recommend legal arguments for your case, predict outcomes, or act as your representative before any body.

Jurisdictions differ; get local counsel for legal strategy

Interpol operates across 196 member countries, and the consequences of a notice — arrest, bail, extradition, immigration effects — are governed by the domestic law of each country involved, which varies enormously and changes. General information cannot substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer admitted in the relevant jurisdiction who knows your facts. For case-specific strategy, an active arrest or extradition, or anything with a deadline attached, consult counsel; our guide to when a lawyer is warranted and our no-charge attorney referral exist for exactly that purpose.

No guarantees of outcome

No outcome is ever guaranteed — by us or by anyone honest. The CCF’s published statistics show that many deletion requests fail and that timelines frequently exceed targets. Our aim is to make your understanding accurate and your request as well organised as it can be; whether a notice is deleted is decided by the Commission on the merits of your case. Treat any provider in this field who guarantees removal as a red flag.

Accuracy, currency, and third parties

We work hard at accuracy — our Sources & Methodology page shows how — but rules, statistics, portals, and institutional practice change, and pages can lag events despite dated reviews. Content is provided “as is,” without warranty of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Links to third-party sites, including our disclosed partner on second citizenship and any attorney we refer you to, lead to independent actors whose services, advice, and fees are their own responsibility, not ours.

Emergencies

If you or someone you assist has been arrested, detained at a border, or served with extradition papers, do not rely on a website — any website. Contact a local lawyer immediately, contact your consulate, and say nothing of substance without advice. Our emergency page explains the first hours in general terms, but time-critical situations require counsel, not reading.

Frequently asked questions

Is anything on this site legal advice?

No. Every page, product, and session is general educational and procedural information. Legal advice — applying the law to your specific facts and recommending a course of action — must come from a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction.

Does buying the toolkit or consulting create a professional relationship?

It creates a customer relationship with an educational publisher — nothing more. No attorney–client relationship, no representation, and no duty of legal advice arises from any purchase or communication with us.

Can I rely on this site instead of a lawyer?

For understanding the system and preparing a straightforward self-filed request, many people do exactly that — the CCF accepts individual filings. For case-specific strategy, urgent situations, or complex files, no: get counsel, and use our free referral if helpful.
